In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their agents may submit a takedown notice to us via our designated DMCA agent, as described below.
As an Internet service provider, we are entitled to rely on the “Safe Harbor” provisions of the DMCA.
To submit a valid copyright infringement notice, you must provide us with the following information:
Copyright Infringement Notice – Complaint
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner);
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material and sufficient information to locate it (please provide the URL of the specific page);
- Sufficient contact information so we can reach you, including name, postal address, email address, and phone number;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you knowingly make false claims of copyright infringement.
All takedown notices should be submitted via our contact page.
We strongly recommend sending notices by email for faster processing.
By submitting a notice, you acknowledge and agree that we may forward your notice and contact information to the alleged infringer.
Counter-Notice – Restoring Material
If you believe material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice.
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- A description of the material removed and its original location;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed due to error or misidentification;
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement agreeing to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court (or any U.S. district court if you are outside the U.S.) and acceptance of service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
Counter-notices should also be submitted via our contact page. Email is preferred for faster processing.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We take copyright infringement seriously.
In compliance with DMCA requirements, we maintain records of DMCA notices and make a good-faith effort to identify repeat infringers.
